Zero-speed and general splicing for printing

  • From the many choices of 3M™ Non-Repulpable Splicing Tapes, you can meet web splicing requirements for coated and uncoated paper, newsprint, kraft, films and foils.  


     

    • Choose tack levels and shear/peel strengths.
    • Choose a resistance to drying temperatures up to 425°F (218°C),
    • Or choose a tape that stays flexible at -60°F (-51°C).

     


    To match tape construction to the handling and performance demands of the job, select either adhesive transfer or double coated tapes.


Products for zero-speed and general splicing

  • Thin polyester carrier. High tack acrylic adhesive for both kraft and coated papers. Good low and elevated temperature resistance. Available in clear or red.

  • Non-woven tissue carrier. High tack acrylic adhesive for both kraft and coated papers. Good low and elevated temperature resistance. Available in clear or red.

  • Thick polyester tape. Adheres to a wide variety of film substrates. Super aggressive for low surface energy substrates. Available in clear or red.

  • Red tape for splicing visibility. High tack, excellent adhesion to most paper stocks. Good high temperature performance.

  • High tack with proven performance for paper web splicing and general purpose bonding.

  • Adhesive on both sides of a thin, flexible polyester carrier. Paper liner. High tack and shear strength; quick stick. Bonds to a variety of surfaces and materials.

  • Polyester carrier with densified kraft paper liner. Excellent UV resistance. Excellent adhesion to a wide variety of materials.

  • High temperature with extremely wide range. High peel, tack and shear properties. Performance-grade splicing for corrugators.

  • Easy tearing, easy handling. Thick, high-tack adhesive, very conformable.

  • High tack; excellent adhesion to most paper stocks.

  • Fibered, high tack tape. Good low-temperature performance and peel strength on many surfaces.
